In 2007, Medical Architecture were part of a multi-disciplinary team which were shortlisted for the Aarhus University Hospital competition. Team members include, Narud Stokke Wiig Architects, White Architects, Arstad Arkitekter and Arkitema.

The purpose of the project was to merge four geographical units into a new single university hospital, delivering high quality, specialised hospital treatments supported by research, development and education.

The vision for the New University Hospital in Skejby, Denmark is to be among the leading university hospitals in Europe, and involves new buildings of approximately 250,000 m2 with an anticipated expenditure of approximately 5.3 billion Danish kroner.
