Acute

For the last five years, Medical Architecture has moved into the field of acute hospital design and, in particular, diagnostic treatment centres. This represents a step-change in our approach to medical facilities design. We are moving forward from functional planning studies and PFI projects and strive to establish a higher benchmark in hospital design standards.

The NHS Treatment Centre in Kidderminster is at the forefront of NHS modernisation and is only the second ambulatory care centre of its kind in the country.

Through recent commissions with The Department of Health and other agencies we have led design initiatives in single bed ward design, and diagnostic treatment centre concept design.
