An AFP (PPP) development of new 457 bed acute-care community hospital and energy centre, serving more than 180,000 people from the Oakville community and surrounding areas. The project re-designed the full acute and mental health hospital services plus a new cancer clinic and improved public, social, educational and retail facilities.

Medical Architecture’s role involved healthcare planning, schematic design and internal planning of:

  • Child and Adolescent Mental Health Outpatients Department.
  • Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Ward.
  • Adult Mental Health Outpatient Department.
  • Adult Mental Health Inpatient Departments (3 Wards).
  • Rehabilitation Outpatient Department (ROD).
  • Development of sports facilities, in particular the swimming pool and gymnasium in the ROD.
  • Visualisation and 3D BIM Models fully coordinated with local Consultants (Kasian).
