An AFP (PPP) development of new 457 bed acute-care community hospital and energy centre, serving more than 180,000 people from the Oakville community and surrounding areas. The project re-designed the full acute and mental health hospital services plus a new cancer clinic and improved public, social, educational and retail facilities.

Medical Architecture’s role involved healthcare planning, schematic design and internal planning of:

Child and Adolescent Mental Health Outpatients Department.
Child and Adolescent Mental Health Inpatient Ward.
Adult Mental Health Outpatient Department.
Adult Mental Health Inpatient Departments (3 Wards).
Rehabilitation Outpatient Department (ROD).
Development of sports facilities, in particular the swimming pool and gymnasium in the ROD.
Visualisation and 3D BIM Models fully coordinated with local Consultants (Kasian).
