A diverse range of services currently occupy two separate sites and are accommodated in a disparate range of buildings, some dating back to the mid-nineteenth century and no longer suitable for the provision of a modern healthcare service.
Medical Architecture are currently leading a team of specialist healthcare consultants and urban planners towards a full business case. The aim is to help rationalise the trusts’ estates and service provision while optimising the commercial potential of two sites.
The project includes 60 rehabilitation and continuing care unit beds, 158-beds for adult and older adult mental health inpatient facilities and 50 day places and 30 places for renal dialysis unit.
